How Dodgers Fans Work Around the Season-Long TV Blackout

For most Dodgers fans in Los Angeles, this is turning into a vanishing year.

With the mid-point of the Major League Baseball season approaching, Time Warner Cable is no closer to convincing DirecTV or any other pay-TV system to carry the Dodgers’ new TV network SportsNet LA.

That’s left more than two-thirds of Los Angeles unable to watch the Dodgers this season, leading to a surge in stadium attendance, record ratings for radio broadcasts, increased online piracy of games — and plenty of fan outrage.
