Iraq Crisis: U.S. and Iran Consider Partnership as Civilian Toll Rises

Secretary of State John Kerry signaled on Monday that the U.S. may be willing to work with Iran to stabilize the quickly deteriorating situation in Iraq.

Kerry told Yahoo News’ Katie Couric that the U.S. was “open to discussions” with Iran if the country was willing to “do something that is going to respect the integrity and sovereignty of Iraq.”
