P.F. Chang's Reverts to Carbon-Copy Credit Card Machines After Data Breach

Restaurant chain P.F. Chang's acknowledged on Friday that customers' credit and debit card data was compromised in a recent hack, and is now reverting to a manual credit card imprinting system in all its continental United States locations.

"This ensures our guests can still use their credit and debit cards safely in our restaurants as our investigation continues," CEO Rick Federico said in a statement. That means that credit and debit cards will be processed the old-fashioned way, with a swiping machine that presses credit cards to create an imprint on carbon copies
