Six seconds is all you need to capture the awkward moment President Barack Obama and Russian President Vladimir Putin met on the sidelines of a D-Day memorial luncheon on Friday

And someone (well, to be precise, the office of French President Francois Hollande) had the good graces to record a Vine video so the world could witness the intimate moment, too.

Obama had no plans to meet with Putin this week, as the relationship between the two leaders is strained due to the current situation in Ukraine.
