Tinder Is About to Become More Like Snapchat

The popular dating and hookup app Tinder is reportedly adding a new feature that will make it a lot more like Snapchat.

Tinder, which lets you talk to nearby singles, (only if you and the other person "like" each other's profiles), is introducing a feature that allows users to share photos that expire in 24 hours with old and new matches, according to TechCrunch. The report said the update will come to both iOS and Android platforms on Thursday, but it hasn't appeared in either just yet.

The concept of sharing self-destructive photos has been popularized by Snapchat and since replicated by other companies. In fact, earlier this week, Apple announced it is bringing similar features to iOS 8 when it launches this fall. Read more...
