He's seen his fair share of applications for sharing photos and videos, but he felt that no one had succeeded in building a simple tool for quickly creating and sharing visual-focused stories on mobile. So he decided to build it himself.

"So many people were creating content browsing apps that we just didn't think were taking advantage of the technology in the right way," Kawano told Mashable in an interview earlier this month. What he wanted was an application that mixed content creation and consumption. Read more...
