California Woman Found 10 Years After Kidnapping, Police Say

A missing California woman, who disappeared 10 years ago as a teenager, has been found, police said Wednesday

Isidro Garcia, 41, of Bell Gardens, California, was arrested and charged with kidnapping for rape, lewd acts with a minor and false imprisonment, the Santa Ana Police Department said in a release. The victim, now 25, recently got in touch with her sister on Facebook, and eventually contacted police. She described the circumstances surrounding her disappearance to police on Tuesday.

In August 2004, the victim's mother told Santa Ana police that her 15-year-old daughter was missing, along with her live-in boyfriend Garcia, following a domestic-violence dispute, according to police.
