Avengers Assemble for Terminal Cancer Patient's 'Winter Soldier' Wish

An alien-invasion-level assemblage of Marvel’s Avengers and other characters have now weighed in on the campaign to get a copy of Captain America: The Winter Soldier to Stratford Caldecott, the terminal cancer patient and huge comic-book fan who is too sick to visit a movie theater but not expected to live long enough for the Blu-ray release.

Sophie Lippiatt (a freelance journalist whose “pen name” is Sophie Caldecott) started the #CapForStrat initiative, posting about it on her blog early this week.
