New Photos Show Turkish Government Official Kicking a Protestor

An aide to Turkey's Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan confirmed that he was the man in photos showing a person kicking a protester at the site of the Turkish mine disaster in Soma.

The aide, Yusuf Yerkel, is expected to issue a statement on Thursday, BBC Turkey reports, after photos surfaced of a man wearing a grey suit kicking a fallen protester.
