Spotify Redesigns Windows Phone App; Still Not as Good as Android or iOS

Spotify released a redesigned Windows Phone app on Tuesday, finally adding the radio, browse and discover features and refreshing the app's user interface. The last was the most noticeable change; the interface was completely rebuilt for a much more streamlined look, similar to the company's Android and iOS apps.

While the user experience now more closely resembles its iOS and Android counterparts, the Windows Phone version of the app still requires a paid subscription. Those other versions of the app require paid subscriptions to access all of the app's features, but a limited version of the app can be used without a subscription, which costs $9.99 a month for most users (a $4.99/month option is available for students).
