Glenn Greenwald's new book tells the inside story of working withSnowden


Writing in Wired, Kim Zetter reviews Glenn Greenwald's much-anticipated memoir, No Place to Hide: Edward Snowden, the NSA, and the U.S. Surveillance State , which tells the inside story of his involvement with Edward Snowden and the most significant story about technology, networks and surveillance in human history. Zetter makes the book sound like a cross between a spy thriller and 1984, and Snowden himself apparently comes out sounding like a pretty amazing and clever person, which jibes with existing accounts of his character. I've just bought a copy to start reading at lunch -- I'm setting aside Piketty for now. Read the rest
