Disgraced Former Director of 92nd Street Y Commits Suicide, Report Says

Sol Adler, the disgraced former executive director of 92nd Street Y, a historically Jewish community center in New York, was found dead of an apparent suicide at his home in Brooklyn Friday, according to a report.

Adler, 60, hanged himself, and was discovered by his wife, the New York Post reported. He helmed 92Y for two decades, reportedly doubling its number of programs and raising $80 million during his tenure.
