Amazon Opens Wearable Technology Store

Amazon may not be developing wearable technology, but the ecommerce giant is embracing the growing number of these devices.

The company on Tuesday launched a storefront dedicated to wearable technology. Customers can compare wearable tech devices within specific categories like smartwatches, fitness trackers and wearable cameras.

The store also includes a learning center and video library, where customers can find more information about the fast-changing market for wearable technology.

“Wearable technology is an exciting category with rapid innovation and our customers are increasingly coming to Amazon to shop and learn about these devices," John Nemeth, Amazon's director of wireless and mobile electronics , said in a statement. Read more...
