'Kaling Me Softly' and Other De-licorices Food Puns

The only thing better than good food is a good pun to pair with it

Photographer Laura Prouty began her journey of food appreciation with an Instagram account and a simple idea: Take pictures of people's favorite foods and pair them with puns, movie quotes and jokesTalking Food has since expanded to a full-fledged photography series celebrating what we all love about food.

"One quite literally stormy night, I thought, that bag of unripe avocados sitting on the kitchen counter was of no use to me. I obsessed over that bag for a few days until I was able to eat them all.
