100-Year-Old Woman Shares Love Story in First 'Humans of New York' Video

Shirley Hyman, age 100, has a love story for the ages.

In the first mini-documentary by Humans of New York creator Brandon Stanton, Hyman sweetly reflects on her time with her late husband, Moe.

Moe and Shirley were married for just three years when Moe left to serve as a military doctor during World War II. She describes their first encounter as "a meeting of the souls."

Hyman appeared in a HONY photo in February 2013, paired with the heartfelt caption: "When my husband was dying, I said: ‘Moe, how am I supposed to live without you?’ He told me: 'Take the love you have for me and spread it around.'" Read more...
