Earth Had 4th-Warmest March on Record, 7th-Warmest Year So Far

Another month has passed, and with it comes more news of warmer than average global surface temperatures, this time for the 349th straight month. Talk about a broken record.

According to National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) data released on Tuesday, which is Earth Day, the globe had its fourth-warmest March on record. Data shows that this was the 38th straight March and the 349th consecutive month with a global average temperature at or above the 20th century average
