NASA Satellite Captures Stunning Photo of Washington Mudslide

A satellite observing Earth has spotted the devastating Washington mudslide from space.

The Operational Land Imager (OLI) on NASA's Landsat 8 satellite captured this image, which shows the magnitude of the mudslide that has so far claimed the lives of 24 people in Washington's rural Snohomish County. At least 176 people remain missing or unaccounted for.
