35 Countries Agree to Nuclear Deal, But There's an Elephant in the Room

More than 30 countries agreed to a set of guidelines that will improve nuclear security, secure radioactive materials and combat illicit trafficking of nuclear weapons.

The United States was the big pusher of the agreement, which was signed at the Nuclear Security Summit in The Hague, Netherlands. President Barack Obama, who started this summit four years ago in Washington, D.C., said 12 countries and 24 nuclear facilities around the world "have now rid themselves" entirely of highly enriched uranium and plutonium.
