Liv Buranday isn't playing with food — so shove that notion in your coffee grinder

The young artist from the Philippines creates works of art made with nothing more than ground coffee beans.

Buranday told Mashable she was partly inspired by social media, specifically lnstagram

"Instagram opens up a kind of visually stimulating world that wakes the artistic side of people," she said.

Other photographers on the platform inspired her to create beautiful images of her own, which have since become quite popular online. Burnaday experimented with assorted objects for her art before her father's morning cup of Joe inspired her to use ground coffee as her medium of choice. Read more...
