8 Dead, 108 Still Missing After Massive Mudslide in Rural Washington

Local officials in Oso, Wash. are reporting that at least eight are dead in the wake of a massive mudslide that occurred near the Stillaguamish River on Saturday.

The deadly mudslide has reportedly left a dozen people still missing and forced an evacuation of the area as rescue workers continue to search for the victims.

Searchers found five more bodies on Sunday, adding to the three found the day before, following the mile-wide mudslide that critically injured several people and destroyed about 30 homes. Read more...
