Winners in Sochi: Bode Miller's Emotional Bronze Tie and Another Dutch Sweep

Sunday's Olympic medal events ushered in another speed skating sweep for the Netherlands (the nation's third in 2014, this time in women's 1,500m) and a touching moment for American favorite Bode Miller in Super-G.

Miller, who lost his younger brother over the summer, said the emotions of the day affected his performance. Nevertheless, the 36-year-old gold medal contender, who came away with a bronze, became the oldest Alpine skier to ever win an Olympic medal.

"To hang onto a medal today, I feel really lucky and very fortunate," Miller told reporters of his third-place tie, according to Reuters. Read more...
