Sorry, Those 'Leaked' iPhone 6 Photos Are Probably Fake

The photos of a new, larger "iPhone 6," posted by frequent hardware leaker Sonny Dickson on Wednesday, have been pointed out as probable fakes by an eagle-eyed member of the Reddit community.

Using the name "colinstalter," the Reddit poster focused on the smudges on the screen of the supposed leaked device as matching the texture pattern on an image (see below) created by Netherlands-based 3D graphics artist Martin Hajek.

"As for those visuals — they do seem to be based on the iPhone 6 concept 3D model which I made and have been selling on Turbosquid for almost one year now," Hajek told Mashable when asked about the similarities between the supposed leak device and his work.
