Toyota Recalls 1.9 Million Prius Cars Due to Software Error

Toyota is recalling 1.9 million Prius hybrid cars worldwide due to a software glitch that could cause the car to stop while driving, the AFP reports

No accidents have been reported due to this issue, a Toyota company spokesman said. In most cases, the issue could set off the car's warning lights. It could "probably" cause the car to enter failsafe mode, meaning the car would slow down and eventually come to a stop.
