Dropbox Lands $250 Million in Funding, Report Says

Just one week after Dropbox suffered a high-profile service disruption, the cloud-storage company has reportedly closed a $250 million round of funding that put its value at nearly $10 billion

According to sources in contact with the Wall Street Journal, a BlackRock investment fund is leading a group of investors in the new round of funding. Neither Dropbox nor BlackRock have officially confirmed reports of the new investment.

Founded in 2007, San Francisco-based Dropbox claims to have over 200 million users around the world
