'The Huffington Post' Launches New Site to Feature World Leaders

The Huffington Post is looking to do for world leaders what it did for celebrities — give them a digital platform to connect directly with readers.

TheWorldPost, a joint venture between HuffPo and the Berggruen Institute on Governance, has already confirmed U.S. President Barack Obama, German Chancellor Angela Merkel, Bill Gates, the Dalai Lama, Peter Thiel, and Elon Musk as contributors

The media outlet will feature 10 international editions online, appear in print publications around the world and replace the current "World" section on the HuffPo website, according to a press release issued on Thursday. Read more...
