Obama Enrolls in Obamacare Ahead of Looming Deadline

President Barack Obama didn't go for the gold. He selected the bronze instead.

To promote his signature legislation the Affordable Care Act, perhaps more commonly known as Obamacare, Obama signed up for a bronze-level health insurance plan over the weekend, using the online marketplace for the District of Columbia. The White House, in an emailed statement to reporters, described it as a "symbolic" gesture, since the president's healthcare is already provided by the military.

The statement said Obama "was pleased to participate in a plan as a show of support for these marketplaces which are providing quality, affordable health care options to more than a million people." Read more...
