Man Writes Book While Hooked up to Electrodes

When Dutch author Arnon Grunberg sits down to write his latest book, sometimes it's just an average day. Other times, Grunberg is surrounded by cameras that record everything he does while he wears a skin-tight cap dotted with electrodes.

The electrodes and other gadgets record his heart rate, facial expressions and brain's every movement in an effort to determine what happens inside a person's body during his or her creative process. Grunberg came up with the idea when he got curious about what information an author could discover from readers who were hooked up to the same equipment, according to the New York Times.
