Google Glass App for iOS Debuts, This Time for Real

The app for managing and connecting to Google Glass finally launched on iOS this week, only to be pulled from the App Store shortly afterward. Now it appears Google has worked out the problems with MyGlass, and it's available for download.

MyGlass for iOS is a little different from the Android version. Whereas on Android, the app lets you pair with the headset so the phone can serve as Glass' connection to the Internet — even without a tethering plan — on iOS the app is almost purely a device manager. It lets you set up Glass and install new software (aka Glassware), but pairing is still handled through the iPhone's or iPad's settings. Read more...
