Online Code School Bloc Raises $2 Million For Its Web Development Apprenticeship Program

laptopGuyA company focused on teaching anyone the fundamentals of web development, Bloc, has raised $2 million in seed funding, in a round led byHarrison Metal, with First Round Capital, Baseline Ventures, and Learn Capital also participating. What's interesting about Bloc is though it's offering an online program that can accessed anywhere a student has a computer and internet access, it also retains the human element of teaching through a one-on-one connection between a learner and their mentor.
