'Sherlock' Returns Jan. 1 in the UK

Our favorite modern-day sleuth, played by Benedict Cumberbatch, returns for season three of Sherlock on Jan. 1. The BBC tweeted the photo and message, below, early Friday, revealing the show will resume New Year's Day on BBC One, in the UK
