Winter Storm Heads Northeast, Threatens Thanksgiving Travel

A huge storm that swept from California to the East coast will likely meld with a Canadian cold front on Wednesday, the day before Thanksgiving — also known as America's busiest travel day of the year.

From Georgia to Maine, last-minute travelers will have to slog through tropical storm-like wind gusts up to 40 miles per hour and 3 to 4 inches of rain, as the storm will not be cold enough to yield snow in many areas.
