Groupon Now Offering Standard Coupons for Best Buy, Macy's

Groupon is attempting to give consumers another reason to check the company's site: A new category called "Freebies" that includes deals from Best Buy, Macy's, American Eagle, Nordstrom and more.

Despite the name, the feature, which will eventually turn up in Groupon's app, isn't just for free offers. It also includes a deal on 20% off select appliances at Best Buy, 40% off office supplies at Walmart and a buy-two-get-one-free deal on Jockey underwear at Macy's. In all there are more than 5,000 retailers participating in 25,000 deals
