NBA Player Apologizes for Dissing Teammates on Twitter

Veteran NBA tough guy Matt Barnes of the Los Angeles Clippers was ejected from his team's game against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Wednesday night after engaging in a minor scuffle. When teammate Blake Griffin got tangled up with Oklahoma City's Serge Ibaka, Barnes rushed over to deliver a hard two-handed shove to Ibaka's chest

He will most likely be fined by the league

But Barnes' more surprising blowup came on Twitter, after he was ejected and the nationally televised game continued without him

Shortly after he was banished to the locker room, Barnes posted a tweet using explicit language in which he promised to stop helping out his teammates due to mounting fines from the league. He has since deleted the tweet, which quickly went viral among sports fans. Read more...
