CBS Will Stream Kennedy Assassination Coverage Online in 'Real Time'

When President John F. Kennedy was assassinated on Nov. 22, 1963, millions of Americans were alerted to the tragedy by watching Walter Cronkite's broadcasts on CBS News.

On the 50th anniversary of the assassination, CBS News will be streaming the original news broadcasts minute-by-minute in real time, just as the broadcasts were originally delivered, this time on CBSNews.com.

The streaming will start at 1:40 p.m. ET on Nov. 22, the same time the first CBS breaking news bulletins hit airwaves in 1963.
