Google just announced a solution for those annoying auto-play audio webpages that are hidden among your web-browser tabs

The updated Chrome Beta release will now display a speaker icon on the tab of a web page playing unwanted audio, so you can quickly identify the page and close it, or just stop the audio from playing.
