Blockbuster Gives Up On Retail And DVD-By-Mail Business

DISH announced this morning that it will be closing down the remaining Blockbuster brick-and-mortar retail locations that it owns, and ending the company’s DVD-by-mail rental service. It also plans to continue supporting “domestic and international franchise operations, relationships and agreements,” it said.
