BlackBerry Scores 20 Million Users for BBM in 1 Week
BlackBerry's BBM chat platform for iOS and Android garnered 20 million users for the platform in one week, according to the company, bringing the total for BBM to 80 million
The 20 million figure refers strictly to downloads. In a press release announcing the figure, Andrew Bocking, executive vice president of BBM at BlackBerry, cautioned that downloads aren't the most important metric
