Russian search giantYandexhas launched anopen-source platform as a service (PaaS) calledCocainethatthecompanysays allows developers to build out their ownapp engines. Yandex, in its documentation, describes Cocaine as anopen-source PaaS system for creating custom cloud-hosting apps thatare similar to Google App Engine or Heroku.
