Best Buy Confirms One-Week $100 iPhone Trade-In Offer

Best Buy will become the latest retailer to offer customers a trade-in option for a new iPhone but only for seven days.

Best Buy told Mashable it will offer customers a $100 credit that must be used towards a new iPhone 5C or 5S smartphone when "any working smartphone" is traded in. For that going rate, customers could walk out of the store with an iPhone 5C without putting any money down.

"The offer runs from Oct. 13 to Oct. 19 and is good for customers who trade in any working smartphone," the company said in a statement. "If a customer’s smartphone is worth more than the guaranteed credit, they will receive the positive difference in the form of a Best Buy gift card." Read more...
