Emmys Winners List: Netflix Makes History With 3 Wins This Emmy Season
LOS ANGELES — Netflix ended Emmys season with three awards — one historic win during Sunday's 65th Primetime Emmys and two more last week at the Creative Arts Emmys. Netflix's political thriller House of Cards on Sunday won Outstanding Directing for a Drama, becoming the first web-only series to win an award at any Primetime Emmys
Though House of Cards went home empty-handed in the drama categories for best series, lead actor (Kevin Spacey, pictured) and lead actress categories, the show and Netflix earned high praise from Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan, whose show won best drama.
