While the pace has slowed of late, thanks to Kindles, Nooks, iPads and the steady advance of mobile technology, the eBook market (and the demand for all manners of digital content) has grown steadily over the past few years. According to the LA Times, the total revenue generated from eBook sales in the U.S. topped $3 billion in 2012, a 44 percent increase from 2011.
