'Man of Steel' Sequel Heads to the Motor City

The untitled Man of Steel sequel, which will star Ben Affleck as Batman and bring back Henry Cavill as Superman, will be filmed in Detroit. The Michigan Film Office announced Thursday that Warner Bros. will film the Batman vs. Superman flick in Detroit and other parts of Michigan likely beginning in early 2014. The sequel will hit theaters in summer 2015.

"Detroit is a great example of a quintessential American city, and I know it will make the perfect backdrop for our movie," the film's director, Zack Snyder, said in a statement.
