Photographer Jon Feinstein offers a new view of burgers and fries with a collection of high-resolution, scanned images of fast food. Feinstein's Fast Food series focuses entirely on the food, with each item pictured against a plain black backdrop

"The project is not an outright criticism of fast food," Feinstein told Mashable. "[It's] more of an exploration of the complicated relationship many Americans have with it."

Feinstein also adds that the food takes on a "scientific, yet ethereal" quality that simultaneously attracts and revolts the consumer. Read more...
