Nearly 1 Billion Games Later, Dots Comes to Android and Kindle Fire

If you own an Android or Kindle Fire and value your productivity, I suggest you stop reading this now.

Dots, the extremely addictive game that was a big hit among iOS users earlier this year, is now available in the Google Play store and on Amazon.

Since Dots launched in the beginning of May, it has been downloaded more than 5 million times and is approaching 1 billion games played, according to Paul Murphy, SVP of products at Betaworks, which developed the game. Dots users now play 5 million to 10 million games each day

Murphy told Mashable that the Betaworks team took extra time developing the Android version of the app in order to ensure "continuous integration" so that "Android users never lag behind iPhone users in terms of new features and game modes." Read more...
