iFixit Tears Down Google Chromecast

iFixit, the company known for its elaborate teardowns of various gadgets, has gotten its paws on Google's Chromecast, the USB dongle that lets you stream web video to a TV set

Given the small form factor of the device — it's just a USB dongle, after all — the teardown doesn't bring too many surprises, and iFixit did not score it on repairability, claiming there's "nothing in it to repair"

Still, hardware-savvy folks will likely be interested in Chromecast's relatively large aluminum heatsink and the fact that the Chromecast is really easy to open
