'X-Men: Days of Future Past' Celebrates 50 Years of Trask

Wolverine may be blowing up in the box office — but that doesn't mean we can't get excited about other X-Men characters

To get fans excited about next summer's X-Men: Days of Future Past, the team at 20th Century Fox launched a website celebrating 50 years of Trask Industries.

For those unfamiliar with X-Men lore, Trask Industries is a weapons and technology company founded by Bolivar Trask. Trask developed the Sentinels — robots created for the express purpose of destroying mutants (mutants like the X-Men).

Trask Industries and the Sentinels will play a predominant role in X-Men: Days of Future Past. The film, which opens on May 23, 2014, will unite the characters from the original X-Men trilogy with their younger selves from X-Men: First Class in a battle royale for the future. Read more...
