This week marks one year since Marissa Mayer left Google to take on the CEO role at Yahoo. In that time, Mayer has led the company to a rising stock price while facing some highs and lows along the way.

From the acquisition of 16 startups in her first year — including the highly-publicized acquisition of Tumblr — to the controversy over work-from-home policies, Mayer has managed to keep Yahoo in the spotlight.
