15 Striking Photos of Reflections

For this week's Mashable Photo Challenge, we asked you to distort reality using the reflections around you. We challenged you to be creative and choose interesting reflective surfaces — and we were beyond impressed. We received hundreds of amazing submissions, ranging from picturesque landscape photos on the lake to abstract shots on broken glass. It was a challenge for our guest curator Dylan Isbell to narrow the collection down to his favorite 15.

"I really enjoyed that there were so many different approaches to taking a reflection photo," Isbell said. "I got to tap into how people see reflections in puddles, windows, water and more. It kept it fresh and interesting."
