NFL Star Apologizes for 'Free Hernandez' Fashion Statement

NFL star Maurkice Pouncey took to Twitter on Monday morning to apologize after being photographed over the weekend in a "Free Hernandez" hat

The cap made controversial reference to Aaron Hernandez, a former teammate of Pouncey's and his brother Mike at the University of Florida. Hernandez was recently charged with, and pleaded not guilty to, murdering a semi-pro football player named Odin Lloyd last month. He's since become a pariah of the sports world, but apparently still has the Pouncey brothers' support
