1. Buckingham Palace

The first source to announce the news will be the palace itself. The formal birth notice will be placed on an easel (the same used to announce William's birth in 1982) in the forecourt of Buckingham Palace. You'll know the announcement is coming when a member of the royal household leaves St. Mary's hospital in London with an envelope in-hand to deliver the news.
